Description: The Apple II is the second computer released by Apple in 1977. It was the first desktop computer in the world with a keyboard, graphic support, power supply and casing. It was the first computer one could buy, un-box, plug in on the TV and start working on it.

Steve Wozniak developed the internals, while Steve Jobs insisted to add a power supply and a well-designed casing. Jerry Manock designed the casing for this occasion.

It became an instant commercial success for the company. Also it was the longest Apple computer in production ever: over 15 years. Many upgrades have been produced.

It is a rare computer and historically the most important computer ever released by Apple.

This item is part the Philippe Poppe Apple computer collection.
