Description: The most famous Apple computer ever: The Macintosh 128k.

Released by Steve Jobs in 1984: he let the computer introduce itself with the now historical word “Hello”.

Considered by many as the first commercial successful computer with a graphical interface and mouse as we know it today. The Macintosh had a slow start but gained very fast momentum when upgrades were released.

This particular Macintosh has the signatures of the designers and programmers cast into the inside of the case.

The Macintosh 128k is uncommon. We could trace about 50 pieces back to collections and regularly one finds a piece for sale on the Internet.

This item is part the Philippe Poppe Apple computer collection.
