Description: The Apple Interactive Television Box is a set-top box developed by Apple in Partnership with global telecommunications firms. It was tested in the US and Europe in 1994 and 1995, but never released.

The purpose was to push content to the users TV with a remote and fast Internet connection. The only difference was that it needed a central content server to pull the content out. Making it quite impractical on large-scale solutions.

This is a near complete unit which could be put probably into production very fast, but it never was.

I could find about 35 references of this prototype in collections around the world. It is a rare item.

This item is part the Philippe Poppe Apple computer collection.
